My mighty team of three, the Oaktown Honey Badgers, rode 545 miles over seven days on our bicycles from San Francisco to Los Angeles, and raised over $10,000 for AIDS prevention and health services, and to contribute to destigmatizing the disease. Over 2,000 other cyclists participated with us in the annual AIDS/Lifecycle.

Taking a nostalgic approach to photography, I used a disposable Kodak camera to capture some of the surprising and visually stunning moments of this fundraiser and experience—no filter applied.
